Ascend Healthcare is proud to offer Ascend From Anywhere, a Virtual IOP for teens ages 12–17 living in California who are unable to attend treatment in person. Whether due to distance, school pressures, or family logistics, we believe no teen should miss out on meaningful, high-quality care.

Our virtual program allows families to access the full strength of Ascend’s therapeutic approach—without sacrificing connection, creativity, or clinical depth.

Individual Therapy

Family Therapy

Group Therapy (DBT skills, process, and specialty topics)

Psychiatric oversight & medication management (as needed)

Over 5 hours/week of parent programming

In our partial hospitalization program, we utilize a trauma-informed, relationship-based clinical treatment model that blends individual, group, and family therapy. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to provide comprehensive care with personalized attention to every client.

Our Creative Arts Program (CAP) is integrated into the virtual format—complete with curated art supply kits shipped directly to each client. Whether through visual arts, journaling, or movement, teens are invited to explore identity, emotion, and healing through expressive mediums.

We believe sustainable change begins at home. Our parent programming includes skills-based groups, parent process, multi-family support, and direct access to our experienced Parent Coaches.

Insurance & Payment

Ascend’s Virtual IOP is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross of California and Kaiser Permanente. We also accept out-of-network (OON) benefits from most major insurance providers and offer support with benefit verification and reimbursement guidance.
